An exploration and celebration of Nature in midsummer, as we ramble through the grass and wildflower meadows of Hampstead Heath and Parliament Hill Fields, with TKT Nature Connections and Hampstead Heath ecologist, and climate and nature activist, Jeff Waage. Pollination is one of Earth’s great life support systems that’s now under threat worldwide. Join us to discover the habitats and hidden lives of our local pollinating insects; and the ways we can help them to flourish here. Free but places are limited. BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL via Eventbrite.
In these challenging times of climate and environmental breakdown, the landscapes of Hampstead Heath offer a special haven for both Nature and ourselves. Join us, as we explore grass and wildflower meadow habitats of high summer, and meet some of the tiny creatures on whom our world depends. Along the way, we’ll take a break to enjoy connecting with Nature through some ‘word sketching’/ Nature Journaling (notebooks and pens provided). And to discover how finding our own ‘Nature Connections Spot’ can help us to reconnect with the healing powers of Nature.
